It's been a week since New York Fashion Week started and it's going great with all the Big brands showcasing their wonderful collections. But what made me to just write about this particular segment?! Of course the name Gigi is itself enough but It's not every time when a Super Model and a Social Media Star would do a collaboration with an ace fashion designer to present the self designed clothing for the World to drool over.

Tommy Hilfiger has been in the business now for a long time and in the history of Fashion Industry none has gone to this extent that they allowed a model to have some serious hand in the designing part and I think Tommy took it way too further and set an example. Also she became the face for the newly launched perfume by Tommy named The Girl inspired by Gigi's free spirited personality.The very first campaign of her fragrance represents Gigi hanging out with the boys in quite a laid back look.

Since, the New York Fashion Week kick-started, everyone was just waiting for that one Iconic moment when Tommy and Gigi would present their Capsule Collection for Fall 2016. Even the media at large only had eyes for TommyxGigi. The Burger Queen debuted her Newline on September 9.The TommyxGigi had already gained a good speculation through Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat stories posting almost every second day about the marvellous clothing details of their products and creating a hype amongst the followers to buy and wear them as soon as they hit the stores near them.

The show was completely star studded. In the front row was spotted the whole Hadid family except for Bella Hadid, Kris Jenner, Martha Hunt and Taylor Swift supporting one of her Squad members. How many times do you see Taylor attending a Fashion Event.? You know its super grand.

Not to forget when Gigi's love interest the former One Direction band member Zayn Malik posted on his Instagram and Twitter wishing her the Best of Luck for the show, added an extra layer of Fanfare and made the Zigi shippers go Crazy. Even Taylor didn't back off from posting about Gigi on Instagram.

In a way, the number of celebrities present that night for the show overshadowed the clothes. But as the Palestinian beauty hit the runway with her beautiful Mermaid locks and wearing the Military Style Blazer and Leather Pants the fans went mad and they wanted to buy each and every clothing from the collection. People could shop the Runway looks following the show.
When asked about the collection all she had to say was " I never thought I would be asked to design a capsule collection, so it feels like a dream when Tommy approached me to collaborate. His company is one that I genuinely love and have been a fan of my entire life, and Tommy is the easiest, most fun person to work with. I've always looked up to his Brand, Campaigns and Design Style. I think our collection celebrates the iconic Tommy lifestyle and mixes a bit of everything: there are styles that are really Hippie-Chic, styles that are sporty street wear and styles that are tomboy but girly; Everyone's going to love a different part of it".
