After making it to the bootcamp, they were told that they were not going any further, but Simon Cowell had spotted the beautiful Diamond the five of them together formed, all he had to do was polish it so that the world comes to know about its sparkle. Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Niall Horan gave rise to the new pop sensation with their extremely gifted voice and attractively appealing good looks. They didn't win the show, but they surely got so many girls all around the world screaming their name. Even though they came third in the series, Simon signed them up for a hefty million deal and since then we got 5 albums that were major hits on the charts and those who worshipped them got a name DIRECTIONERS and I'm most definitely one. They became one of the most fancied boys in the world.
During the X-Factor days, the boys started filming the Video diaries just to be interactive with their fans and letting the world know that the were one amongst them and how very weird it was for them to handle the female attention all at once. And apparently this was the time when people got more attracted towards them, seeing them eating and talking like the normal teen boys and eradicating all the cliches attached to a boyband.

Shortly after the release of this song, we saw so many girls adopting their surnames on twitter. Such is the power of this fandom. The girls couldn't stand the idea of Harry getting closer to that girl in the video after louis makes it clear that Harry has hots for the female.
Recently the song completed its 5 years and the whole fandom was emotional, all they could say was just how fast the night changes. Personally I adored them more after the video for One Thing came out.

Trust me, that smile just doesn't go away when you see the video. They teasing you about having that one thing. :P lol. There debut album Up All Night was the fastest selling album in the UK and topped the charts in 16 other countries. Seriously every song from this album feels like a love letter written from them just for you. The female fans connected with them more because they always sing what a girl wants to hear. We directioners from all over the world are joined by our love for 1D. One direction fans are known to be some of the most crazy fans around. I mean don't you all want to visit Doncaster, Holmes Chapel, Bradford, Wolverhampton and Mullingar where the boys grew up? There are millions of One Direction Fanfictions out there. My whole teen years have just been about their albums and the Fanfictions. The first fanfic I read was called DARK having harry as its lead. After reading some 90 chapters in just two days, me and my best friend used to think how perfect it would be to have a boyfriend like Harry Styles. Someone rightly quoted it "think 50 Shades of Grey but with One Direction as the characters and you'll have a better idea of the content".

After this album, there was no turning back for One Direction. The fans could now identify the voices of the boys by merely listening to them for three or four seconds. Zayn's high notes and Harry's angelic voice had become every directioner's favourite.
But being involved with One Direction doesn't only mean it's about fans adoring them or the boys adoring the fans..NO! its also about how the fans fantasized the Bromance between them. Nouis, Ziall, Larry, Ziam, Niam were some of the amalgamated names. Amongst all these names the fans came up with a super sharp name Larry Stylinson. But who knew Louis would end up being a Dad and Harry would grab a Movie, besides harry himself told a fan that Larry was never real. So..can you hear the heartbreak? </3
So One direction has it all to climb the highest tower. They have the most beautiful voices, they are five handsome young men, they already have a major hit album so the only thing that lacked was Another album which they released in 2012 called "Take Me Home". Them throwback feels! No words can describe how amazing this album is. I still remember the lyrics to all the songs, its been a while, but still I got it! It was the best selling album of 2012 globally. The album's lead single Live While We're Young became the most viewed video on Youtube as soon as it released. Also the dance moves that made you weak in the knees. The Window Wiper, Canoe Paddle, The Elbow Lift were some of the sassiest dancing steps invented by One Direction that we still follow religiously, So what they forgot it now :( Talk about the second single from the album, Little Things, each member spins about what he loves in his woman and how perfect she is even if she has to squeeze into her jeans.

You know the best part is they all sound like a unit with no single voice dominating each other in the band. The thing with the Directioners worldwide is you try to involve your friends and your friend's friend into the the Fam. I became a Directioner with my bestie and the One Direction infection is still on. By now directioners knew how to enter the fandom but lost the way out! I found this really exciting picture from a fan account that justify's completely what I'm trying to say.

They started commenting that the band has been engineered so well that they are aggressively marketed towards young girls and just like their predecessors they will soon vanish.. The fans soon retaliated by saying they aren't your normal boyband, they have their own different style, they don't dance, their concerts are hilarious, they make us feel loved, they are so down-to-earth and the conclusion is they just want more of such songs and them being together. I'm drowning in my own tears now. At this point of time I was so tired of hearing the non sense from some stupid ignorant people that One Direction is all about swooning girls, partying and fagging, I mean c'mon cant you see their beautiful side? They have a golden heart. I'm so so proud of them. But it's sad that sometimes people are just too blind to see the good things in you. I hate how the world is like this. Respect for boys and those who survive in such conditions. But they say it right that let your talent speak louder than the ones who surround you. From insane twitter followers to massive selling of tour tickets, it's been 6 years that One direction has been a part of our lives so I thought let's round up the biggest achievements for the boys. It's so rare to like each song from an album.
WMYB got them their first BRIT award for best british single and now they have five of them, three NME's. two KIDS choice awards, four MTV VMA's, four ARAI's, one BAMBI, at BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards they won seven awards out of nine, six Billboards music awards, three Billboard Touring Awards, five Bravo Otto's, they won Fragrance of the Year: Consumer's Choice for Our Moment, eight Japan Golden Disk Awards, six JIM Awards, 12 awards at MTV EMA's, one MTV VMA Brazil, three awards at MTV Music Awards Italy, one MYX Music Award, three People's Choice Awards.
One Direction for me is like an escape from the reality. A beautiful Escape. In this world full of Filthiness and hoaxes they make me believe that there is still a part of the world that needs your love and is dying to give love in return. They got me like "Don't forget where you belong, Home, If you ever feel alone, Don't". This is home and its perfect.
Their success was now compared to the achievements of Beatles, but the boys always said they have the same amount of fans going Gaga about them but when it comes to music they are not even closer to them. So much had been achieved by 1D at such a tender age that we didn't expect them to thank us in such a different way this time. We could see 1D in 3D and this time, the fans knew there is only one direction where they should be headed and it's the theaters near to them. I wasn't the only girl screaming in the theater and Why not? The film shows the side of their life that we aren't aware of, their intimate conversations with the family and each other and my most favourite part, Boys being Boys. The movie was a perfect union of their interviews, family life and the backstage goofiness. Forever grateful to them for making us a part of their lives.

One Direction mania strikes again. Can I once again state how very rare is such a phenomena to like each and every song from an album :P They have mastered the world domination. Sometimes I feel it is the only band that can sing about sex without using the word and make it sound so pure, pretty, happy and energetic. Especially Niall's solo in Better Than Words. Who can forget the iconic song Best Song Ever starring Zayn as the sexy assistant, Liam as Lee Roy the choreographer, Niall as Harvey the Studio Executive, Harry as Marcel the Marketing guy and Louis as Jonny the Studio Executive. One Direction aren't no more the boys on the stairs, they're global superstars now. In support of this album the band also participated in 1D Day, a day dedicated to One Direction fans worldwide. I won't act my age and I'll still feel the same around you. YES YES YES! and I can say it a million times that I am just not ready to get over with their music and they themselves. I should better confess that I am stalker level obsessed with them. With their constant touring we wonder how they got time to work on another album and sound so Perfect, yet again! We're talking about FOUR, the fourth One Direction album. No boyband had ever made it this far and still managed to sell this much and sound so good. The album debuted at number one in 18 countries including UK, Australia and US. If you need a refresher, the band has released an album every year till now(2014). The album is incredibly catchy, uplifting, high-spirited and obviously good fun.

Did they deliberately name the album Four? For a fan I know what's going on in their head like the back of my mind. 25th March is the saddest day for directioners worldwide because Malik officially announced that he is leaving the band and the internet imploded with crying face emoji's. For a few seconds I thought the whole thing is a joke and he will come back, the seconds turned into days and days turned into months, but he never showed up. Luckily, the other boys said that they will stick to the band, but things obviously will never be the same. Thanks for the major stab though!

Doesn't matter we got split into Directioners and Zquad. Zayn has been doing well since he left the band and is probably one of the most influential artists at the moment. His debut album Mind of Mine has been welcomed by everyone worldwide.

After Zayn's departure from the band, the whole fandom was in a frenzy about how the Band would sound after the world's best boyband officially became foursome. But just if you thought One direction might not sound the same, I think Made in the A.M would definetly give all the answers to your questions. MITAM is a very mature effort that shows progression. The boys have grown :D Can we talk about going out on top again? The band released the lead single Drag Me Down without any official announcement and the directioners made sure whereever they were present at the moment when the boys released the song, they would listen to it. I have lost the count on how many times I've replayed this album.

2015 has been a tough year for directioners and the news that One Direction would be on a hiatus to pursue their solo career doesn't make it any better. The hashtag OneDirectionIsOverParty made it even worse. I low key miss them right now. Its been months since the boys went on an official break and it has started to feel like forever. I hope its just a break and not a breakup. Meanwhile, we saw the boys heading towards a new direction. Liam signed a deal with the Capitol Records, Niall has been working on his album and released a single, we will see Harry next year again in the theaters near to us as he is starring in the movie Dunkirk and Louis gave birth to a beautiful child named Freddie. Till now, no reports have been confirmed saying They will be back next year or not. But a Directioner inside of me wants it to happen so bad. It will be tough for us to look out for Five different directions. This will be painful to watch. But they have worked so hard for the past five years, they deserve every inch of it, no matter how upsetting it is. Whatever will be the fate of One Direction, let's just hope that two years from now, they dont exchange cold shoulders and remember that they are one of the most chilled out boys that turned into men and not to forget OUR UNDYING LOVE FOR THEM.
