Yes, that was the plan - to tell you that the mere usage of this term time and again suppresses a women, knowingly or unknowingly. Not anymore, my momentary conviction succumbed to the brutality of "man"kind. Hence, I had to bury the belief with great sadness! The fact is, it's the need of the hour!

Unable to detach myself from the feeling, it's no shock that women have to go through atrocities of someone entering her body against her wish even till now! So much around us has transformed, we went from walking to flying, from writing to texting but what is it about women and her existence that irks someone so much? Here's some rape 101

Oh well, that's just our culture! We get offended way too easily!

Toxic Masculinity

Symptoms:

1.The fear of not being sexually experienced among peers. 

2.The urge to control and dominate.

Consent-O-Phobia

Symptoms:

1.When no starts resonating with self-esteem.

2.Titillating & exciting is what you hear when someone says no.

Inhumanity

Symptom:

1. Sadistic pleasure

What part of this heinous crime has never been spoken about? How it starts or how it ends? Is it the lack of effective penalization? Every aspect has been touched! Every street has had its share of protests! We've seen some of the most horrendous crimes against women and the conduct is only becoming more horrifying with every attempt. Yet the law is still the same except for life imprisonment from 10 to 20 years. I'm sorry but this is an inexcusable offense! Putting them in jail is like saving the culprits from the eyes of the world. Instead, they should be brought to the public domain! Let them know what it’s like to face the wrath of the public! 

Do you know in Iran, rapists are killed in public, either by hanging or shot. Victims are allowed to shoot the rapist in public in order to get justice. Reformative theory of punishment won't serve the purpose because your intentions were malicious!

High time we have a befitting comeback to this offense. High time we bring some slicing and dicing into the picture. High time to wake up and smell the coffee dear lawmakers because no one deserves an end like this. High time we inculcate the fear of committing this crime.
